RSX Evolution Windsurfing
In my opinion it's clear that Neil Pryde takes Olympic Windsurfing really serious. With the introduction of the RSX Evolution a light weight version of the current RSX has been developed.Neil Pryde is giving a positive statement with this improved equipment that they are caring about the future off windsurfing. The question is if the member nations of the International RSX Class also take this lightweight version as a positive development for the future. Besides of the RSX Evolution, Neil Pryde also launched the RS:One couple of months ago. This complete set of equipment is developed to make racing available for a wide group of windsurfers, kids but also their parents. They can all use the same equipment which has a relative cheap prize. To start up and promote the RS:One events are organized by Neil Pryde. The introduction of the RS:One as written by Pryde: "RS:One is a new, exciting, one-design racing class by NeilPryde. One sail, one board - everyone competing on the same equipment. It's the rider that makes the difference.
RS:One comes from the same racing pedigree as the Olympic RS:X and the NeilPryde RS:Racing. This universal one-design class allows male and female racers of all ages to compete on the same equipment. RS:One is a fantastic opportunity for sailing and yachting clubs and federations to organize races and attract newcomers - bringing back the regatta fans to the sport."
